Mrs. Rochelle Parker
Mrs. Parker is a graduate of Duquesne University with a Bachelor Degree in both Elementary and Special Education. She also received a Master Degree in Education with a Reading Specialist Certification. She has been teaching for 35 years. Mrs. Parker works out of the Pittsburgh-Mount Oliver Intermediate Unit #2. At BLSMMA, Mrs. Parker is the Reading Specialist for students needing extra support in reading. She is married to Dr. Bruce Parker and they have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Mrs. Parker enjoys sports, especially Penguins hockey, traveling with her husband and playing with her grandchildren.-
Mrs. Terry D’Alessio
Mrs. D’Alessio is new to the school as a Cafeteria Assistant. She began working in the cafeteria in 2009. Mrs. D’Alessio is married to John D’Alessio who is a photographer. They have two children, Dylan, a 7th grade student at BLSMMA and Brittany, a college student and former Saint Mary of the Mount student. Mrs. D’Alessio enjoys being around the students and preparing lunch for them each day. The D’Alessio family resides in Mount Washington.
-Mrs. Jan Duffy
Mrs. Duffy is the Kindergarten Aide for Mrs. Nomides. She has been working as a Kindergarten/Pre-School aide for 11 years. Mrs. Duffy loves to work with the children and enjoys seeing them grow leaps and bounds from the beginning of the school year to the end. Mrs. Duffy is married to Pat Duffy and has three girls, Erin, Katelyn and Kelly, each attending 12 years of Catholic education. Mrs. Duffy has served as PTG President and on the Development Committee at Seton LaSalle High School. Mrs. Duffy and her family reside in Knoxville.
Mrs. Melanie Halligan
Mrs. Halligan is the reading Specialist for Kindergarten. She works at BLSMMA through the Pittsburgh Intermediate Mount Oliver Unit #2, an educational resource offered to Diocesan schools. She is a Penn State graduate and a California State University graduate certified as a Reading Specialist. Mrs. Halligan has been teaching for over 34 years. She has two children, Kevin and Kelliann.
Mrs. Mary Maceikis
Mrs. Maceikis is the Speech and Language Therapist at BLSMMA and three other private schools. She has a Master Degree from Marshall University in Speech and Language. She has been teaching for 28 years. She is married to Bill Maceikas and they have two children, Brett and Lauren. The Maceikis family reside in McCandless Township. Her hobbies include gardening and exercising.
Mrs. Donna Schiavone
Mrs. Schiavone has been working with the school cafeterias for over 20 years. She has been the Cafeteria Manager at BLSMMA for 5 years. Her duties include the overall production of the cafeteria program. Donna is married to Tony Schiavone and they have two sons, Tony and Stephen. They reside in Mount Oliver. Mrs. Schiavone enjoys being around the students and preparing lunch for them.
Mrs. Tracey Broniecki
Mrs. Broniecki has been our Administrative Assistant for 4 years. She is very energetic and always greets our faculty, students and parents with a smile! She takes care of several jobs during the day including being a nurse! Mrs. Broniecki is married to Steve Broneiecki and they have 2 children, Stephanie and Jordan. Both girls have attended our Catholic school. Mrs. Broneicki enjoys making crafts, music, camping and enjoying life. Mrs. Broniecki and her family reside in Mount Oliver.
