Cheerleading Competition letter to parents 2012-1

This year, we thought we try something fun and different.  Monty’s 2012 Fish Fry Tour will broadcast from area firehalls or churches each Friday during Lent.  Let’s get them to broadcast from our Fish Fry!  It could mean loads of publicity AND MORE MONEY FOR THE SCHOOL!  All we have to do is tell them about our event using the link below.

The radio station will pick five or more Fish Fry candidates each week, and online voting will determine Monty’s broadcast location.  Let’s show them our BLSMMA spirit!

Here are some specifics that they will ask you when you fill out the online form:

Dear BLSMMA Families,

I hope and pray the New Year brings blessing to you and family.

January is a time to look back at the previous year and forward to the next.  This is also true for the school – it is the time of re-evaluation of where we stand on the goals that were set for the 2011-12 school year.

The goals that were set were quite ambitious, and great work has been done this past year by many committees and individuals to work toward them.  We have honestly come up a bit short on these goals, and so once again have to evaluate the future of the school.

I am in the process of meeting with committee members, as well as with the Diocesan Schools Office about next year.

The process of re-evaluation will be complete by mid February, by then I assure you we will have a clear decision regarding next year.  Thank you for your patience and prayer during this time.

Dear Parents of our BLSMMA students,

I would like to thank our PTG for their enormous support with activities held on behalf of ‘Catholic Schools Week’.   Our donuts & coffee for parents and the BLSMMA staff luncheon were totally funded by our PTG- so a major ‘THANKS’ goes to all members for their time and effort!

It was also a pleasure to see so many families take the time from their busy days to attend our ‘Special Person’s Luncheon’ ;  your children will remember moments like this when they are older-guaranteed!  Looking ahead to February, events will continue at BLSMMA; please see all messages included here on the website and keep the communication lines with your child’s teacher open.

At the midpoint of the school year, our students have submitted a total of 10, 816 Box Tops!  Thanks to Mrs. Sus Lucas (chair) for coordinating the event.  The current standings as of February 2nd are :
