Below are easy fundraising ways that you and your families can assist the school in receiving free money or free school supplies. As always, thank you for your support.

Box Tops for Education:
Box Tops coupons are on many of your favorite products. Each Box Top coupon is worth 10 cents for our school. You can visit www.boxtops4education.com for more information.

Scrip:
SCRIP is one of our easiest fundraisers! When you purchase SCRIP, you’re purchasing gift certificates and cards that are used just like cash. You can use SCRIP to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with every purchase, you earn revenue for BLSMMA!
We purchase the certificates from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount, and re-sell the certificates for full face value. The discount is between 2 to 15%.
SCRIP is a great fundraiser because you spend money ONLY on items you are already going to purchase. Use SCRIP for all your needs, whether you like crafting, eating out, home repair projects, or just shopping, we have the SCRIP cards for you.
SCRIP is available for purchase at school. In addition SCRIP orders can be sent in to school with your child. If the certificates are on site, we will send them home the same day. Use the form below to select your gift cards.
More Fundraising:
The following are fundraising sales/events during the school year that we strongly encourage our parents to participate in. The proceeds of the following go toward our fundraising goal of $96,000.
October Fun Fest:
Come to our Annual Festival and/or get your Raffle Tickets to win some great cash prizes!
Our Festival is held annually in October and every year we look for volunteers to help in all areas – Food booths, Game booths, etc. Proceeds from this event go to the school (75 percent). Please see the flyer below for this years event to be held the weekend of October 8, 9 and 10.

Sarris Candies:
To begin the school year and during the Christmas and Easter Holidays, The candy bars are sold at the beginning of the school year to get a start on the fundraising budget. We require each family to sell at least 2 boxes. At Christmas and Easter, a booklet is sent home for your interest. All sales go to the school from all fundraisers.
Casino Night on the Mount:
This annual event is held every April and is a huge fundraiser for the school. It is also a great way to enjoy an evening out with family and friends. There are many ways to help including volunteering, purchasing tickets, selling ads, donations and much more. Information will be posted during the beginning of the calendar year.
Fish Fry:
Ash Wednesday and each Friday during Lent our cafeteria is hustling with busy people preparing the food, selling, cleaning and assisting. It is a great family service for the local community. All proceeds from the Fish Fry go directly to the school.
Walk-a-Thon:
Each spring the Faculty and Students raise money for the school by supporting a Walk-a-Thon. This money is raised through donations made to the school or in honor of a loved one. We have earned an average of $9,000 per year for this event. The students enjoy this day as we also have snacks, music and an energetic walk along Grandview Avenue.

EITC Program:
Through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program, a qualified business can fund education rather than pay a percentage of its state taxes. To do this, the business makes a gift, through the EITC program, to an EITC-registered scholarship organization or an EITC-registered education improvement organization. The state Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) gives the business a tax credit equal to a percentage of the business’s contribution.
To learn more about this great opportunity to help students through the gift of scholarships, please visit the site @ www.newpa.com.
Bingo:
We will be attempting 2 “SUPER BINGOS” this year as a hope to re-establish our former bingo. The information can be seen on the flyer below. Bingo is played in Sullivan Hall cafeteria, 115 Bigham Street, 15211 (next to the school building on the corner of Grandview and Bigham).
