The purpose of the Bishop Leonard / St. Mary of the Mount Academy PTG is to enhance the welfare of all children attending BLSMMA and to support the advancement of catholic education.

It shall further be to act in the promotion of parent-school activities and to increase on the part of its members interest in educational affairs.

Our PTG shall attempt to enhance parents’ and teachers’ roles in the education of the child by increasing their knowledge of education and it’s processes, by increasing their mutual understanding of children, and by providing an opportunity for parents and teachers to work together for the good of the child in Bishop Leonard / St. Mary of the Mount Academy.

Officers and Board Members are elected each year for a two year term. The Office of President and Treasurer are elected opposite years of the Vice President & Secretary to avoid having all new officers in a given year.
